Lolita Haul: Shoes edition [Image Heavy]

Lolita shoes Taobao haul

Has been a while since I made a Lolita related post. Late March to early April, I made a group Taobao order with a couple of my friends. In which I bought a lot of shoes for my Lolita outfits and also lighter wear.

I wanted to buy from another Taobao shoe store other than "An*tai*na*", I chose to use "Sosic". Which they are also replica brand shoe store but also had a variety of Classic and sweet style shoes. I did however bought a couple shoes from  "An*tai*na*" as well. I want to try Sosic this time round  since I wanted to see how well the shoes were constructed.

Sosic:

 An*tai*na*:

*Note: Sosic tend to close their web shop every so often, I think it's due amount of order they take on. So they close up for a short time before you can purchase from them.

Although I do not own any brand shoes to compare with these replica shoes. Either that they are sold out in my size or just over my budget. While Taobao tend have items cheaper and you can buy in bulk doesn't always mean they are "great" quality but they are however good staples.

Shoes size(s)
7.5 (AU) / 24.5 cm / 39

Sosic Shoes

*Angelic Pretty REPLICA Tea Parties:
Colours I got them in were Brown and White. I'm not much of a fan of Tea parties based shoes. Though I had wanted to get shoes with a lower heel base for walking long hours. I'm actually quite surprised with Sosic shoes, I didn't think they would make the shoes with more of a softer insole which makes it quite comfortable to wear and hopefully for long hours. They are well constructed for their prices as well but I have yet to wear them to test for durability and comparability.

*ETC REPILCA glitter shoes:
I've always wanted a pair of glitter shoes. Either I miss out on the releases especially in my size or that seller that I know are selling them but not in my size either. These shoes are very nice but quite stiff. Due to the heavy glues glitter on the shoes. So far the glitter on the shoes don't rub off and leave residue of glitter on my hands. Though I will have wear them to test how well they stand with longer hours of walking.

*Innocent World heart scalloped REPLICA shoes
I wanted to get some lower heeled, Mary Jane style shoes in black for Classic wear. These are quite cute. the finishes are well constructed.  There is  a small production error which can be seen on the last photo of the shoes. Where the layer of scallops are not tucked in correctly but it's not much of a problem.

* minor production error not particularly noticeable when worn and from far distance.*

*Innocent World REPILCA boots
These are by far my favourite pair of shoes I have gotten. It bloody has wool insoles and and lining which fantastic for comfort and colder days. I've been wanting a pair of Blown style classic boots that weren't too tall in heel and length. They are quite lightweight as well which is a plus. Wears well with tights and OTKs.

 An*tai*na* Shoes

I have had bought An*Tai*na* shoes before, a pair of boots. Which wear pretty nice but the not for long hours. Since the insoles a lot more harder so you feet start to ache. So I had to get some insoles for the extra padding just for a little more extra comfort.

Black criss-cross straps shoes:
I was hoping these shoes would a be a little more lower heeled but they are not. Plainer styled shoes but they are great for a Gothic style which is nice. I have to yet to try them out of longer hours.

*Note: I am thinking about selling these pair at a local swap meet.

Brown boots:
These shoes are quite pretty but know An*Tai*Na* shoes they aren't too comfortable for long hour wear. The heels are little tall for my liking but it'll make about average height. They are more heavy than my Sosic boots and tougher pu leather is used. I really that it has a pointed ends though.

Thank you for coming by and reading my shoe haul. I tried my best to photograph details of majority of the shoes. Hope you guys enjoy my photographs!

I will try my best to do more post, hopefully.

Lipstick review: Colour Pop "Bull Chic"

Anna-le16 and I did an order from Colour Pop, not so long ago. Anna had apparently been wanting to buy some lipstick and lip liner from Colour Pop. Though the unfortunate thing for her was that shipping to Australia would have be more than the prices of the product(s) itself. I decided I wanted to buy some lipstick from them as well and to help subsidized the shipping cost for Anna. Also due the fact that our currency is not particularly good as of late.

Since I have been looking for a Black lip stick colour that wasn't cheaply made and have and funny texture or smell. Or that it was cheap to buy from and good brand from overseas but shipping would cost more than the item itself. Plus good make up here in Australia pretty much cost an arm and a leg just for one item or two.

Ordering and shipment timeline

We ordered on the 18th Feburary
Took about a week for processing and was shipped on the 26th Feburary
Arrived on the 3rd March
I picked up my lippies from Anna on the 6th March
Overall time was just about over two weeks.

Cost

$20.00 USD + Shipping $16.19 USD
Total: $36.19 USD
which equates to $47.39 AUD
for our total order together
My share was $18.09 USD (23.69 AUD)

Which is quite a reasonable price due to exchange rate.

Lip Liner

black tends to be had to photograph without trying to look any of it's actual colour but also trying to capture details as well. even when under good lighting or so.

The lip liner runs quite smooth against my lips, even with slightly dried lips. So it's doesn't clump up or up rigged. The colour itself when applied off as a "greyer" tone as some people has pointed out, though it more charcoal in colour because there is no such thing as a pure black, which generally black either tends to come off as a deep brown or gray colour.

 Lip Stick

The lip stick, run quite smooth over my lips when applies. Very smooth and creamy with candy like perfume smell, which I can't put my finger on what the actual candy is. Generally a good lip stick, when it's applied you really only need to do one application. With this particular colour, yes it does come of "Charcoal" (or gray) but if you apply once more you will get the darker blend.

Application on skin & lips

So I have rather tan colour skin so it's a lot different to some of the stocks/ and models that were being used to advertise the colour. In which they really don't show a lot of in between colours only lightest to darkest tone on how the colour would look against those kind of tones. Which made it hard to decided what colours were right for me without being able to test some small swatches on my hand.

So I did some small test swatches using only one application layer, which it does come off more charcoal than "pure" black.

I did however put on ligher foundation to give myself a "gothic" look.  This is how it looks like in warmer lighting. it has a matte sheen and it is quite a nice black colour.

This is how it looks like ins cooler lighting setting. somewhat a little more the gray spectrum.

I didn't take any over time wear of the lippies itself. Though what I like about it that is stays on for quite a while. There was no peeling of the skin on my lips, when I drank from cups did not stain too much like most lip stick that I have unless it has one of those sealing feature/ primers. It did not fade as much while when drink a beverage. It also washes off pretty well and clean and does not stain the lips or leave a weird pink residue. You don't have to force scrub your lips to clean it unlike some other lip sticks I've used.

 Price: 5/5
Quality: 4.5/5
Colour: 4/5
Smoothness: 5/5
Wear: 4.5
 Overall rating: 4.5

I would definitely buy from Colour Pop again for quite affordable Lip stick and lip liner for a budget.

Thanks for coming by!

Also Bull Chic is some what a run on words  for *Cough* "Bull shit" *Cough*

Belated Valentines date

Hello beautifully people! It's been a while since my last post.

So today I went out with my waifu Anna_Le16 on our belated Valentines date. It was delayed due to the weather in Australia being ridiculously hot to actually wear Lolita out without melting into a pile of goo.

We decided we wanted to to eat Chicken Parmigiana at a place called Hofbauhuas down in Market Lane in Melbourne.

Anna came to my house early morning, to hang for bit while I got ready and before we took photos of our outfits. Drinking my tea and lazing around my bed like she owns the place XD Has been a while since I went out with my babe in Lolita thus it was a pretty good start of the week.

We also bumped into my post man on the way to the station, he recognized me since I happen to always get mail and I'm always the one signing for it. We got some super lovely comments/ compliments throughout the day which was nice highlight of our day.

Colour theme, we decided on brown.

 Outfit Rundown:
JSK: Innocent World - Stradivarius Flare
 Blouse: Magic Tea Party
Shoes and Sock: Off Brand
Bag: Innocent World - Tote

(Goal: get a new petticoat)
I look so square in the photos TT_TT

Anna's outfit Rundown
JSK - Metamorphose
Blouse: Off Brand
Bag: Guess
Shoes: Bodyline
Hat: Offbrand
Necklace: Metamorphose

Isn't she super cute! She defs has model qualities and her smile is hard to resist <3

We actually took Purikura before we had lunch in the city, once every February since 2010. So this was our fifth year!

Post photo from Purikura, I look awks as usually.

Here is what I had to eat:
I had a Swiss Parmigiana, ate the entire plate! It was pretty large just like my other parma I had a few weeks back. I think the manager was surprised that  I ate it all. Unfortunately Anna couldn't finish her Mushroom Parmigiana but she tried her absolute best!  We both had a glass of wine with our meal. I had a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon and Anna had a glass sparkling strawberry wine.

We also had dessert to share. We were recommend to have the Apple Strudel . Which was super Yum, the homemade ice cream was fantastic, the pastry was soft and the apples had that lovely sour to sweetness taste.

After lunch we went on a little (window) shopping trip. I want to get some LUSH soap, since I have been to try their products. I got 140 grams of "Dirty" soap, which smells like menthol :) , out of all the soaps, I like that one best. I always have issues with strong smelling soaps 'cause I tend to have allergies so I always tend to stay away from strong smelling soaps. Though Menthol smell I like and can tolerate. :)

It has a lovely blue colour!

All in all I had a lovely day with my waifu just relaxing, chatting, shopping and eating food.

Thanks for coming by and reading. See you beautiful people next time!

Fulfilling Food and Pretty People

So today I went out to eat with Belle and agentlemandoesnotconga for some Chicken Parmigiana at Mrs.Parma. Wore my first Lolita coordination of the year. I had a little had time planning what i want to wear since I have gotten so many new things recently. I plan to wear Lolita more to outings with my beautiful friends and or to any of my community meets.

Here is my outfit coordination for today! Went more Gothic today and I loved it!

Coordination rundown
JSK - Moi-meme-Moitie
Blouse - Innocent World
Shoes - An*tai*na
Choker - Off brand

Ahh my face is always so derpy in photos (don't look at me!!) I somewhat wanted to wear a wig out today. At least the weather wasn't too bad for Melbourne at least. My petticoat doesn't give much Poof but I quite like it like that a little when I wear dresses out more a casual basis. Though I will getting a new one that will have a  lot more poof.

I totally at a continent guys, + a side island that comes with it. So I had the Mexican Parma plus i enjoy eating jalapeño, and sour cream with salsa & avocado. It was quite yummy and enjoyable to eat. I ate it all!

Here are some lovely fun photos

Even though both me and Belle are wearing boots I'm so short TT_TT
There is a rainbow  XD

Some wind came and start splashing water across us.

Here are some dashing photos of agentlemandoesnotconga

For the rest of the day we went to Daiso for a bit of shopping, looked around Myer, chatted to some lovely people. Bought some drinks and then went our separate ways home since Belle doesn't in our area. Although we had to take a replacement bus home a couple stop before our stop on the train. Due some more power failures on the train tracks as usual.

All in all I had a pretty good day out, been a while since I was out and about in Lolita.

Thanks for reading!!

New Frills

Hello beautiful and welcome!

So recently I went to go pick up some of the things I bought from my awesome friend agentlemandoesnotconga whom he and another friend went to Japan early December and came back early January. He was able to purchase me stuff from Japan, mainly from Closet Child, since you don't get to see all the stock they have online. I bought three dresses, one of the dresses was an unintentional/ I guess somewhat impulse buy but I really like how it looks one me. So I finally got around taking photos of the pieces.

Innocent World - Stradivarius Flare JSK (2014/ Brown-Cafe Au Lait)

So here are some close up details.

I'm actually quite that I was able to get this JSK. At first I wasn't so sure about the bodice colour and the print of the dress. I thought it would have been better off as just a skirt. But I was able to see this dress in real life at Kanga Kanga, which they have the Bordeaux, flare JSK version. I absolutely fell in love it. The stock photos don't do this dress and justice. It looks amazing in real life and I'm really glad I am got this dress. I would also like to get the dress in Bordeaux as well in the Royal blue colour. So the bodice isn't a bright yellow-orange colour, it's more towards a pale tone of yellow-orange colour. The fabric is beautiful and has a lovely textual feeling.

Baby the Stars Shine Bright - Royal Crown Flock Print JSK (2009/ Black-White)

I love old school black and white dresses. It was interesting that agentlemandoesnotconga found this dress in Closet Child. So this one is similar to my Josephine JSK, both are velveteen and have flocking print. I have a few velveteen dresses, my Btssb dresses are light in material comparative to my Infanta Velveteen dress which it weighs a ton. It is a long style dress but it's a little longer on me since it's like short. The only issue I really have with it, it's really minor that it has a back zip. So I have to contort my body to attempt to zip it up but it's a lot better than side zip because side zips tend get stuck.

(Sorry I need to run a lint roller on these dresses velvet dresses are lint magnets O_O)

Moi-même-Moitié - Rose Frills (2002/ Black)

So this dress was my unintentional purchase, they coerced me into buy it. I'm only joking. I quite happy with this dress, I love this old school styled Moitié and I'm so glad it fits me well. So it has a black chiffon overlay with dusty blue floral pattern (totally made from curtains). It's such a simple style dress. I would of gotten another Moitié piece which was a skirt but the only issue I have with Moitié skirts is that most of the skirts waist size don't have any extra give and I love their skirts TT_TT.

Thank you for coming by and reading <3

I still need to coordinate and wear dresses out and take photos
